My story began in the winter of 2021 at our fishing resort in Rockaway Beach, MO. (Winter months slow down for us a bit, so I have a bit more time to devote to my rodent removal business) Some local fishermen found a young bald eagle in distress on the lake and brought it to our attention. The eagle was weak and barely clinging to life. After wrapping it in blankets and making several calls, my wife and I, finally found an animal sanctuary that could help. Unfortunately, the sanctuary confirmed our fears: the eagle had been poisoned, likely from eating a rodent that had ingested rat poison.

This heartbreaking experience opened our eyes to the unintended consequences of traditional rodent control methods. Poison, while effective against rodents, can cause immense harm to predators like eagles, owls, and other wildlife when they consume poisoned animals.
